Complete Silence
Some stories begin with wonder. This one begins with a warning.
A father’s duty is to guard a child from darkness.
To give commands that shield them in a world so heartless.
To obey his words and sleep unafraid. For he will strike down evil that stalks the night’s shade.
But what happens when those very hands become the blades?
For the enemy isn’t lurking in the shadows, cold and grim. It isn’t out there at all, it’s right here…
It's Him.
Dare to turn the page - if you’re ready.
“If you’ve ever walked with your darkness and held its hand —
this story is for you.”

A Message
From the Author
This is not a typical story of fairytales and happy endings. This is not a story of the dreams that come true – not really. But nightmares? Perhaps.
This is a story of a child who’s known nothing but torture, nothing but pain. But what does that pain do to the child? Does it grow into something unspeakable and morph into powers beyond comprehension? Or does it become a fragile refuge, a safe haven, a home… a sliver of hope. Or will it consume the child, ripping the flesh from fat, fat from muscle, and muscle from bone till nothing remains?
This is not a story for the weak hearted. This is not a story for the faint.
This is a story for the ones who have faced darkness and learned to embrace it. One must ask themselves, “Is this a story I am able to unfold?”
If the answer is “Yes.” Then uncover the mystery that lies in wait like the shadows lurking nearby, eager to answer.
But if the answer is “No.” Then set it back down and find something softer. Safer. Perhaps this story may fragment and fade away like ash in the wind, forgotten.
But maybe, just maybe, it will follow you like dust in the corners. Like a whisper in the dark – help me.

Meet The Author
By day, LX Morg is a Medical Laboratory Technician, by night she is a lifelong lover of stories. After years of writing poetry and stories in her childhood, she returned to the writing as an adult to rekindle the imagination she once set aside.
Rediscovering writing has brought that spark back into her life. Now she writes to remind others that wonder never leaves us; it simply waits to be invited in again.
Her work reflects her belief that stories outlive their authors, carrying pieces of who we are into the world long after we’re gone. Outside of writing, she loves building and creating with her hands, and spending time with her family, dog, and axolotl.
